This Privacy Policy explains how RAXON ("RAXON", "we", "us", "our"), a product of deepTHINK.africa, powered by TAMANI Solutions, collects, uses and protects your information when you use the RAXON application and related services (the "Service"). It should be read together with our Terms of Use. By using the Service, ticking an acceptance box, or sharing your details with us, you agree to the practices described here.
The short version. We collect what you share and what RAXON generates for you, use it to prepare your reports and run the Service, protect it with encryption and access controls, and never sell it or show third-party ads. You can access, correct, export or delete your data, or withdraw consent, at any time.

Some of the information you choose to share may be sensitive personal data (for example, information touching on health, wellbeing or beliefs). We process such information only with your consent and handle it with additional care.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not show third-party advertising inside RAXON.
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent (which you give by accepting our Terms and by choosing to share information), and as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us or closing your account, though this may mean we can no longer provide parts of the Service.

We aim to handle your information in line with Uganda's Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019 and its regulations, and, for users outside Uganda, with applicable international data-protection standards, including the principles of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where relevant: lawfulness and transparency, purpose limitation, data minimisation, accuracy, storage limitation, security, and accountability.
Where your information is transferred or processed across borders (for example, by cloud or AI-processing providers in other countries), we take steps to ensure it remains protected to a comparable standard.
RAXON uses artificial-intelligence models and trusted third-party service providers (for example, secure cloud hosting and AI-processing services) to operate. These providers process information only on our instructions and under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations. We share only what is necessary to run the Service, and never to sell your data.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption of passwords and protection of data in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep your personal data only as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations, after which we delete or anonymise it.
RAXON is intended for students aged 13 and above, with features and content appropriate to age. We ask for your date of birth to provide an age-appropriate experience and to apply any additional protections required for younger users. If you believe a child has provided us information in a way that needs review, please contact us and we will act promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you within the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
